Second edition of the course “Fundamental Concepts for the Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence for Authorities of the Americas,” offered by the OAS in collaboration with Chile’s National Center for Artificial Intelligence (CENIA). It took place virtually from June 16 to July 7, 2026.
Aimed at senior government officials and decision-makers from OAS Member States, the program sought to strengthen institutional capacities for the adoption, implementation, and use of artificial intelligence in the public sector.
The course was held within the framework of the COMCYT 2025-2027 Work Plan, with support from the project “Development of Artificial Intelligence Frameworks for the Americas,” implemented by the OAS Technical Secretariat with funding from the Government of the United States.
