ABOUT THE EVENT ​

The objective of Prospecta Americas is to share good practices and experiences by regional experts in technology foresight, support the development of capacities, generate joint collaboration projects and improve the social appropriation of knowledge of 10 transformative technologies identified as promising for the region, namely: Internet of Things, Blockchain, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Robotics, 3D and 4D Manufacturing, Synthetic Biology, Biomedical Engineering and New Nano Structured Materials.
The second edition of Prospecta Americas will be held on May 18 and 19, 2022 in a hybrid format, alternating online and in-person interventions in Pachuca, Mexico. The program includes 10 specialized workshops to present the latest studies and advances in the areas of technology foresight and transformative technologies in the region. Keynote addresses and panels will also cover topics such as: Digital Transformation and Governance; the Future of the Economy; the Workforce of the Future; the Future of Health and Medicine; and Humanity 2.0, with interventions from experts and academics from Research Centers and Centers of Excellence in Innovation from across the region.
