Founder and principal advisor for Education, Research and Innovation at EUMex-Connect, a Mexican-European company with a collaborative network of institutions and experts in more than 30 countries. President of the Network of Mexican Talents Abroad in Germany, he provided guidance to promote economic and educational development between Mexico and Germany. Leader and senior researcher with extensive experience in Research and Project Management, Higher Education Policies, Academic Management and International Collaboration of Higher Education Institutions. He has collaborated with the Government of Mexico to establish and develop a professional network of highly trained Mexicans living in Europe to promote academic and scientific cooperation between these two regions. He completed his undergraduate studies in Electronic Engineering and Communications, and a Master's of Science with a specialization in Manufacturing Systems, at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESM). He also studied a PhD in Engineering Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Doktor-Ingenieur) at the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany.
