One of the best known Mexican scientists worldwide in the field of computer science and mechatronics. He has been world champion in robotics on two occasions (2004 and 2005) and his autonomous vehicles circulate on the streets of Berlin since 2007. The “MadeInGermany” vehicle was presented in Mexico in October 2012. He obtained his doctorate in Economics at the University Free from Berlin, there he obtained his Habilitation, an additional degree and after the doctorate, which only exists in Germany, in the area of Computer Science. The Free University of Berlin later offered him to install an Artificial Intelligence laboratory in Berlin, so Dr. Rojas accepted the offer obtaining the W3 level, the highest in the German academic system. Currently Dr. Rojas is the leader of the “Dahlem Center for Intelligent Systems”.
